one day

one day i may die. so as you. some may live till a ripe old age, other be killed at an young age, some may be caught in the rapture, others will be persecuted in the tribulations. But being a Christian, one thing is certain, that there is one day when our mortal body will be transformed to an immortal one.

From that day on new things will happen. You will feel alive and be awake. You will not grow tired nor hunger or thirst. One such day, you may go for war against the accuser - the Satan. On that day you will see the death paying its debt. You may partake in the victory celebrations in the galaxy that day and the days to come.

Then may be one day, days and night may cease to exist and time would be timeless. From then on you will live in the presence of the almighty.

As you live there, you will see the Father, God of all. You will worship Him because he is there. You will see and know the Holy Spirit and realise that the Father is not the spirit, and the Spirit not the Father. You will be wise to understand that they are different, but also get to realise that they are one.

In such a time you will spent time with the Prince of Kings. You would notice some things on him too. One thing you would notice is the sash of a common man around him. Now, since he is the king, his sash is made of something as precious and indestructible as Gold. You may notice that He has some stars in one hand and his hair is soft as the wool and his eyes as bright as fire.

But, as I was thinking on the risen Jesus, I realised that He still had the cuts on His flesh from the nails. Well, as I was saying, If you been there in heaven, you will see that he raise his arms over you to crown you with His glory. Once, he raised his arms over your head, you would be able to see this clearly.

You will see those marks, those marks that made you worthy to be there. You will be amazed, in awe, and look at your self. If you were hurt when on earth, you will not see the marks. yet, some how the one who made you better, has marks that make him worse.

this is not because he could not, but that he would not. it is his new covenant with you. To be there.

Rest easy, my love.
Good night

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism.
