This is my second malayalam poem and my first Christian poem. It's based on salvation by grace and ends in eternity. Special thanks to my mummy who had coauthored this and helped with rhythm , flow, grammar correction and malayalam typing.

Testimonies

This is an extract from a mail I had written to my friends and I wish that most of you my readers would get this message too. I want to tell you about a few testimonies that changed my perception of testimonies. Most of you may have heard me say this many times, but then since its that good, I wish your Christmas memories could include this one too.  The first story occurs in a little village of pullad. Now that is in Kerala, and for those who do not know where it is, the place is near kumbanad, and around 15 Kms from Chengannur/ Thiruvalla and some where in the mid point between ernakulam and trivandrum .  SEE IT ON MAP I HAD WRITTEN THE STORY IN A BETTER FORMAT OVER AN YEAR AGO. SEE TOTALLY SIMPLE FAITH.  It is a village more than a town , with rubber trees, bugs and the sweet sound of rain in the woody and leafy region, so it cooler and humid than most other parts of kerala. So, i was here, in a prayer meeting run by a pentecostal group called the hallelujah pra...

Wisdoms

I was talking with my grandmother who is almost 4 times older than me, about agriculture and the paddy fields, when she asked me to visit the fields my grandfather and his ancestors once worked on. I of course objected it saying that there were more important things to do like watching TV and eating, but her persuasion finally won me over. The travel was short but it was worth it. I have never stood in muck so deep in my life and it was far exciting than i had orginally conceived in my head. Its by her faith that I learned more about Lord. It reminds me of Timothy I am calling up memories of your sincere  and  unqualified faith (the leaning of your entire personality on God in Christ in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), [a faith] that first lived permanently in [the heart of] your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am [fully] persuaded, [dwells] in you also. 2Timothy 1: 5 Written By Your browser does not...

Don't Call Me Disabled

This week i had another experience like that i wrote in " if an order exists  " a few months ago. The said blog was when I had met a friend who did not show any enthusiasm in studies at first, and i tried like to understand him by comparing him to known silent kids. But that was a big mistake and once I had understood that, I realized that there was more to kids than that meet the eye. Now, this blog is where i had another experience with this kind.  Now this kid is another cousin of mine. He was kinda slow around the age of 3-6 years and more overly had some trouble learning in the first few years of his life. But I do not think he was autistic. Now, well like many of you in developed and developing countries especially India, where education is strict, forced on children in kilos and often spoon-fed. That is another story that needs to addressed more strictly, but here in this story the kid is lets say slow or was in the first few years.  Now he is around 9 or ...

Totally Simple Faith - Part 2 : a simple woman's faith

The second part is an anecdote. This happened a long time ago and i have told this story of faith to many as  this had moved me deeply. Yet a beautiful memory emptied into this Pensieve. Now as a story is told, the story teller has the habit of a painter, adding new elements to the canvas. I have not tried this method for a long time, yet i am willing to try telling you a story in this style. Imagine a black canvas Imagine a white tent Imagine red banners written in Malayalam, It looks like the picture on the right. It reads "Yesu" which means "Jesus". The bigger letters are consonants and the smaller ones are vowels.  [ A brief explanation to read it : the sign like an inverted 3 is the sound "a" as in "alien" , the next noodle is "ya" as in "yak", the 3rd letter is "sh" as in "shoe" and the last one is "u" as in "shoe". so over all "Yeeshoe" ... and the people said ...
