Building Websites: A Journey of Passion, Purpose, and Praise

In the expanse of the digital realm, where creativity meets functionality, lies a realm of endless possibilities: website building. For many, it's merely a skill to acquire, a means to an end. But for others like myself, it's a passion, a canvas where I paint my ideas, dreams, and beliefs.

Why do I make websites, you may ask? Simply put, because I find it fun. There's an exhilarating joy in piecing together lines of code, designing layouts, and watching a digital masterpiece come to life. But beyond the sheer enjoyment lies a deeper motivation – a purpose that drives every click of the mouse and every stroke of the keyboard.

One of my most significant projects was the creation of a church planting website. Now, this wasn't just another project; it was a labor of love fueled by my deep investment in the family and the mission to spread the gospel. Building this website wasn't merely a task; it was a calling—a way to contribute to something greater than myself.

But why specifically a church planting website? Because it aligns perfectly with my values and beliefs. It's not just about constructing a digital platform; it's about facilitating the outreach efforts of communities dedicated to sharing the message of hope and salvation. It's about leveraging technology to support a noble cause, to reach people in need, and to make a difference in the world.

Moreover, I find it easy to find resources for such endeavors. The abundance of tools, tutorials, and frameworks available online streamlines the development process, allowing me to focus creating affordable options which are lesser known. The websites i make are static generated. This means they hit google search engines and CDNs very easily. .

But it doesn't stop there. I also take delight in building maps and aggregator websites for church planting movements. Why? Because they are praiseworthy to God. These platforms enable me to visualize the grand tapestry of humanity—its languages, tribes, peoples, and nations—all being touched by the transformative power of the gospel.

In essence, my journey in website building transcends mere technical proficiency. It's a journey of passion, purpose, and praise—a journey where every line of code is imbued with meaning, every design choice reflects my values, and every project serves a higher calling. And as I continue on this journey, I am reminded of the profound impact that technology can have when wielded with intentionality and faith.

So, whether I'm crafting a church planting website or developing a mapping tool for missions, I do so with a sense of reverence and responsibility, knowing that each digital creation has the potential to touch hearts, change lives, and glorify the one who called me to this path. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

I want to tell you about a few testimonies that changed my perception of testimonies. Most of you may have heard me say this many times, but then since its that good, I wish your Christmas memories could include this one too.  The first story occurs in a little village of pullad. Now that is in Kerala, and for those who do not know where it is, the place is near kumbanad, and around 15 Kms from Chengannur/ Thiruvalla and some where in the mid point between ernakulam and trivandrum .  SEE IT ON MAP I HAD WRITTEN THE STORY IN A BETTER FORMAT OVER AN YEAR AGO. SEE TOTALLY SIMPLE FAITH.  It is a village more than a town , with rubber trees, bugs and the sweet sound of rain in the woody and leafy region, so it cooler and humid than most other parts of kerala. So, i was here, in a prayer meeting run by a pentecostal group called the hallelujah pra...
