Northward

Finally, a week's leave from work. i have a lot to do and "the-hardly-anytime" complaint should be put to an end. i plan to reorganize my self and  my commitments. Man I've been looking for this since a long time. i may go to kerala soon, but i wanted to set some things right in chennai and i thought that this move is good. Thanks to my team manager who gave me the leave and time to go this. Dev, thanks if you are reading this.

Besides i think "to ancient  of days " seems a pretty long lane for a small blog... no plans to change it as i need some consistency. Ive spend the first day in front of a computer most the time and happened to like Avril Lavigne's I'm with you song. Its a nice song expect that the person is ready to go out with the first person who shows kindness to her. i think this is also a good attitude, "respect those who care you" speaking about that i am planning to thank everyone in my life, including you, as you keep the blog going on. thanks .

The song goes like this ...

It's a damn cold night
I'm tryin' to figure out this life
Won't you take me by the hand?
Take me somewhere new
I don't know who you are
But I'm, I'm with you
I'm with you
Some times we really do need some people to be with us. just to kick out ass atleast. This is where i find the answer in the Christ. silly though, he makes every day new, and all i have to give him is praise.FYI, Vineyard has a song on you tube called "Could I" . I think the best holidays are days when you give into some one more than anytime before. Giving into people that we care, giving into God for what he looks to in us, that he could have his son or his daughter a step closer to him, so close to hear his heart beat like how "Matt Gilman" sings it.

The shame is this, we often think that we are the next thing to Superman or possess Green Lanterns and have build such a hard heart and stubborn nature that we keep telling our selves that we cannot be defeated even by God and mind you these people fail but rise up and fail again, still rise but the fact is not that they rise up, the fact here is we still think that we will not cease to exist one day and  care less to give in.

How much could i really give in to God and let him redirect or the better word is reorient my compass to the true North that is in him....

...till next time Su!

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

Testimonies

This is an extract from a mail I had written to my friends and I wish that most of you my readers would get this message too. I want to tell you about a few testimonies that changed my perception of testimonies. Most of you may have heard me say this many times, but then since its that good, I wish your Christmas memories could include this one too.  The first story occurs in a little village of pullad. Now that is in Kerala, and for those who do not know where it is, the place is near kumbanad, and around 15 Kms from Chengannur/ Thiruvalla and some where in the mid point between ernakulam and trivandrum .  SEE IT ON MAP I HAD WRITTEN THE STORY IN A BETTER FORMAT OVER AN YEAR AGO. SEE TOTALLY SIMPLE FAITH.  It is a village more than a town , with rubber trees, bugs and the sweet sound of rain in the woody and leafy region, so it cooler and humid than most other parts of kerala. So, i was here, in a prayer meeting run by a pentecostal group called the hallelujah pra...
