Drifting and taking steps

Photographer
Life is not always a smooth ride and i know that anyone above one years old would agree with me. you have the bruises on your knees at one year and the bruises on your heart when you are sixteen all because you moved so fast. You know what i mean... but then we stop to move at all! You are familiar of the saying curiosity killed the cat, i disagree, i say the hot water killed it, and the cat was stupid. Once we been hurt, like the saying, once bitten, twice shy, we kill our dreams and fail to move as if we have developed a great surface tension not to move at all. This , people is where we fail. We fail to succeed in life. We tend to go with the flow. This my loved ones is called Drifting

For those who play NASCAR and know what a drift is, this is not the drift im talking about....those who don't know look at the tree floating in the picture. Some may call it relaxed life, some may differ. But over here i am with the latter. Drift wood only gets spoiled. It grows fungus and bacteria and so on and rots. This is not a good process even though this helps the aqua life. We are meant to be conquerors people, kings and queens. (Romans 8.37 Now, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. ESV). and here we are floating around in a stream bound for a waterfall and let me remind you, an old block that is rotten and it would crack at the fall.

Steps One of my very good friends used to tell me this about Faith. She says, Subin,, Faith is looking from the known to the unknown, and stepping into the unknown, expecting and believing to find a rock underneath to stand on. Strong right. One saying goes like this, Your actions at the critical times depends totally on what you deeply believe. And i agree to that saying, if you believe that your Porsche is a part that values more, then while your house is burning down, you may run to the car shed and drive the Porsche out, leaving your puppy in the flames. :(

So the summing up of everything, like Switchfoot sang,

welcome to the planet.. welcome to existence...every one's here...
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
I dare you to lift yourself up off the floor
I dare you to move
I dare you to move
Like today never happened
Today never happened before
I dare you, readers to move out from the stream that you have been drifting, from the lies that you been telling yourselves, move out from the chains that you bound yourselves to, take the stand and make a new way. Those who love poem can quote Robert Frost's Road not taken,
I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.
©Walt Disney
... Make the difference, take the new step, what if you fall the first time, stand up and walk again.

Like in the movie Wall-E, we have lost the ability to walk, to move around, stuck to the cushion of our comfort zones, barely stretching out our arms. People, i am telling you, its time to show that world that you are not a speck of dust in a tornado, YOU are the tornado!

Welcome everyone,

WELCOME TO THE PLANET.

ITS TIME FOR YOUR EXCELLENCE !

till next time Su!

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

The Ultimate Claim to Glory

During a recent worship service, a thought struck me while singing about giving glory to Jesus. I wondered if it would be appropriate to ask for glory or to claim it for oneself. This idea felt blasphemous, as it seemed to imply that one could steal or exceed God's glory. History is filled with examples of kings and rulers who sought such glory, only to end up as dust and bones. But then I realized that even Jesus, in his prayer to the Father, asked for glory: 'Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed' (John 17:5). How could Jesus, being fully God, ask for glory? The Chalcedonian and Nicene Creeds affirms the answer as said in the verse "He (Jesus), Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage, (Philippians 2:6)". They affirm that Jesus, though fully God, did not cling to his divine equality but humbled himself. He is the only one who truly des...
