Renewed to Honor

The birth of Jesus and the events that surrounding the birth often has the term "come and see". The Shepherds were told to come to Bethlehem and see the King. The wise men were led by the God with the star to come and see the new King and worship him. Jesus tells his disciples when he calls them "Come and See"(John 1:39). After the shepherds saw Jesus, they went out and said what God has done. So are we, when Jesus calls us he tells us to come and see that He is good. We too are led to him when we were called. Once we see and taste that He indeed is good, our response is Go and Tell (Romans 10:14,15). Come and See! I never thought I would hear these words again. But my 2-year-old son just said that. I felt a rush of memories in my head. I followed my son to his playroom / our living room. In it he had arranged his toy cars in a perfect line and wanted me to see them. He obviously did not know the deep meaning that his three words brought to my memories. Three words that transformed me. Come and See. That was all that took for God to shake my life and as I study the Bible, I realize that I am not the first one whose life had been changed. ( John 1: 35-40 ) . It was in 2008 when someone told me the same. A brother in Christ had said that same sentence. I was on the phone with him, and asked him the following question in some manner "how do I know Jesus" and he just said those 3 words and my world was shaken.
