What is next - tummy tuck for 5 year old ?

I travel almost all days on the London metro and ever since I started paying attention to the news papers I have been curious of what is mentioned in them. I recently read some disturbing news on the "metro" paper and have been thinking about them. This is first of the series. I call this "Image".

Recently, it was shown according to the Metro News Paper [1] that over 343 labiaplasties were performed on minors, some as young as 14 and 9 year olds. The shocking fact is not that these girls who this was done needed them, but they wanted them. Reports cite that most of these girls did have healthy body parts but still were looking for a reason to change what they have to what they see. This is called as designer v***na or in some cases "po*n-star-chic" look. Don't you see what is happening here?

During my travel into London every morning at peek hours I have seen women for hours making themselves feel better by adding layers of cosmetics but hardly realising the fact that they are just adding beauty to what is beautiful already. May be , just combing the hair that is just not in place and adding some moisturising cream so that the cold English weather does not dry your skin will be just enough. What we have here is people who loose their value and attribute their value to the things they have. Something well known in the case of evolution, because evolution without a creator in sight just tells people that they are not valued at all and that their reason to life must be to add value to life by buying stuff to improve on their condition.

I have heard that back in the 80s, Billy Graham and the feminist activists used to burn p*rn together side-by side, each for their reasons but both agreeing to the fact that women have value inherently and that it was not right of a person to treat a woman as a commodity.

What resulted in the thought that women have to please the men in order to live in this world did not raise the women standards but rather bought them down. Remember 10 years earlier there were no size zero (size 0) and then came talks about being healthy is size 0. What about eye candy? How come every song we see on the idiot box have to have an eye candy? This is not a post-modernistic view, but rather a hedonistic view well cultivated in Athens and Rome as early as 1st century BC.

Today we see that if you do not look like a p*rn star you are not valued! What has this world come to? What are in the minds of those little girls trying to remodel their genitals - I would understand if this occurred in rare cases, like children falling down and hurting themselves, but this according to NHS is not the case. Some major reasons are for cosmetic purposes as said by the NHS.

The question we should be asking ourselves is not how or why did these kids see the p*rn, but  how come they want to look like adult movie stars? Is it because they are obviously influential to their parents and friends? Isn't it because our media just is a bunch of filth? Recently , Angus T Jones the boy in the two and a half men series said that he was "not happy" in watching his own show because it was filled with filth.[2]

What we see here is not the absence of moral values, but what what scholars call relative morality. You see, with the coming of age, we tend to believe in the evolution of moral values. We now claim that we made religion and God, for self preservation so that we stay united as societies and thus come to a social understanding. So, when we accept this we must conclude that in this post modern era, an adaptive evolution of moral values are needed. Take away the Judeo-Christian world view, what do we get? A world changing laws and morals to adapt to future, forgetting that life has meaning and a person has meaning in existence .

This is what the  Judeo-Christian world view says, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. He blessed them ...". Only when we realise whose image we are made. Once we realise that our image is heavenly, we understand why life is sacred - why sex is sacred - why your image is sacred. Then you would not go changing your look for someone so that you be pleasing in their eyes, but you begin to live with the knowledge that it is God who made you. You would understand that it is not in the looks, but in the hearts that people find themselves, more over in life with a purpose. This was not made just so that you may feel good, but rather, told to people who longed for God, so that they know when they say, "God" , they realise, "his magnificence in other too."

God Bless.

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised manner . For m

2 Kings 5 | Part 2 | Naaman and the Offense of the cross

This section of the story in 2 Kings chapter 5 focuses on Naaman. We know that Naaman was the commander in chief of the armies of Syria and possibly the right hand man as he was incharge of strategic, political and warfare and security. This was a very prestigious role that Naaman had earned. Some Jewish Rabbis say that his ruthlessness and his power resulted in God punishing Naaman with Tzaraat which is translated as Leprosy. For the sake of these notes, I would consider the word Leprosy.  Naaman was powerful and wise. In fact, it was God who had blessed him from the start. The verse says that Naaman was a powerful and influential man valued by the king greatly. His victory was a gift from God to Aram. Why would God bless a foreign nation to attack the Israelites? In Deuteronomy chapter 28, Moses tells the people that God would make the enemies of Israel punish the people of God if they are disobedient. Jehoram, the then king of Israel was the son of Ahab. Ahab and his wife Jezebel le
