On a recent talk with Jehovah Witness, I realised the truth Christ had been telling me. I was reading the first chapter of the Gospel of Jesus Christ as told by John, popularly known as John's Gospel. In this the very first verse says, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." Note the fact that the Greek say "εν" and not "κατά ", which means "in" and not "at". We know for fact from English literature, if I said arrive "IN" time, it is expected that the person arrives five or ten minutes prior with time to spare. So, when God began to create, my argument is that Jesus was there. But this is more when we look into the Bible, we find John says the same words from the Hebrew book Torah, and the first part "Bereshit (בְּרֵאשִׁית, literally "In the beginning") -- Genesis". John plays a striking connections from this book in Torah, stating that in the Beginning, meaning the beginning of God's creation work, where he created the angels, archangels, etc, sun, stars, moon, earth ... so on, the Word of Lord existed. John says, God was Logos (or Word) and every thing that was made was made through him and nothing that was made was made with out him. This tells us that Jesus was not made because if I were to make a cake, I cannot start with a cake. But agian in Bereshit or Genesis, it says Elohm (God(s/plural form)) said, lets make man in our image.
But the truth of Bible is not just Jesus is God and Jesus was there in the beginning but rather, the fact that Jesus was life. For the whole human race and only the human race, because God loved us than all his creation because his spirit was in us. We are the crown of his creation.
May the light of God, guide you.
