Count your blessings! Be literal in counting them. I have not done them before, but I am going to do that . It should be more than sufficient to tell me that I believe in a great God and that he has a much bigger deal in my life than life itself. I am carried away by the troubles of this world that I forget that there is a better deal than is in store for me. For instance I read today in the bible about God's abundant provision for us and how he loves for us and cares for us.
"If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don't you think he'll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I'm trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting , so you can respond to God's giving . People who don't know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don't worry about missing out. You'll find all your everyday human concerns will be met. Matthew 6:30
"Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don't get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. Matthew 6:34MSG
Lets learn to acknowledge the word God is doing in out lives. For a start I am going to make a list of my blessings that God has given me.
There is this couple I would like to introduce to you, Ian and Larissa. Their life is an amazing example of how God wants us to face another day. God bless you Ian and Larussa. Here is their wedding video remixed by desiringGod.com
