Many look at Saturday evening as a time to party and have fun. Recently on a Saturday evening i was at the upminister railway station waiting for a train to home and a rather interesting family caught my attention. There were a lady, a small girl of twelve, a boy of seven and a little girl of four or five. They ran hiding behind a coke vending machine laughing. Then the youngest one popped her head out, the mother pulled her back. Them the older girl popped her head out. Then the boy walked from behind the machine. Their action clearly indicted that they were hiding from something. This kept going for five minutes till the mother walked out and took a peak at the doors they came out from and jumped and went back into hiding with her children... Pulling them all into the safety of the vending machine. There was something about everyone in the family, the little ones were the loudest, making happy shrieks and running around in her little shoes .... it was worth a watch . I looked up at the time displayed on the notice board ... i had ten more minutes to wait and there was a great film in making in front of my eyes.
Curiosity had its limits... Me along with some other silent onlookers who were with me on the other side platform who had this beautiful suspense story played out. Then a young boy stepped out. Immediately the little girl, the youngest of the lot jumped in to scare him. He hardly noticed her as both of them were pulled behind the coke machine by the mother. Minutes passed, many passengers passed that way, they younger ones nearly spring on every one. Just then out of the corner a man walks, he smiles a bit seeing the youngest girl who is drawn into hiding by a hand that looks like a man eating vine. The man walks as close as possible to the vending machine, slowly and then screams loudly that all the five in the hiding just goes crazy.
My best belief is that it was the man they were waiting for. I laughed, the girl next to me laughed, we looked at each other and smiled. Ain't it all about love and
family.
God Bless You All
