His Presence Beyond Languages
Today : I was feeling a wee bit low when i thought that there would not be any blog posts in November, but I did not want to write anything and fill this space. I had been having a tough time, lots of assignments and stuff like that and I did not take time to relax and stay in the presence of God. Its is a truly life changing experience when you give into him. Running on my mind now is the song "Forever Reign" by Hillsong from Beautiful Exchange. The song goes ... "You are good, you are good, when there is nothing good in me You are love You are love On display for all to see You are light You are light When the darkness closes in You are hope You are hope You have covered all my sin "

Last night was amazing, I attended a small party, a number of Christians had come together to spend some time off studies and unwind, man it feels like a great blessing now. I sat at a table and this is the table were people from almost every continent, of many languages, and it was like we were representing God from our countries here, like there I was an India, and then there was this Japanese guy, two British guys, a girl from Spain, a girl from Germany, a girl from Bulgaria, two guys whose ethnicity could be traced to Africa, a guy who was half French and half German, and I think there was some one from USA. All of us, came to this table not knowing this would be the population at the table, and they were random and we just sat at a table we found empty or something. This could not have been anything better than this, that God brought his kids from all over the world, to this tiny table covered with some table paper, in a tiny space, in his time so that we could glorify God. How mighty is your name O, Lord
This is a little map of the crowd at my table and there were 6 other table, there were people I knew from some countries in African continent, some from Australia, some from USA and some with ethnic background from South American continent. Praising God has no words, no language, its all about you Lord! all about you ..... Every knee shall bow , every tongue shall proclaim, the Jesus Christ is God!
This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German. 'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers. I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes, I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

New Testament * 1 John 3:1: See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! * Ephesians 2:10: For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. * Colossians 1:15-16: He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: thi...
During a recent worship service, a thought struck me while singing about giving glory to Jesus. I wondered if it would be appropriate to ask for glory or to claim it for oneself. This idea felt blasphemous, as it seemed to imply that one could steal or exceed God's glory. History is filled with examples of kings and rulers who sought such glory, only to end up as dust and bones. But then I realized that even Jesus, in his prayer to the Father, asked for glory: 'Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed' (John 17:5). How could Jesus, being fully God, ask for glory? The Chalcedonian and Nicene Creeds affirms the answer as said in the verse "He (Jesus), Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage, (Philippians 2:6)". They affirm that Jesus, though fully God, did not cling to his divine equality but humbled himself. He is the only one who truly des...
