Little Hearts - An introduction

"Little Hearts" as you see on the right hand side is a Facebook page of a new thing that i plan to start. Now i have no idea on the physical implementations, but i am planning to push this online as much as possible.

Little hearts is a place for innovations and talents to rise. How is this different from all the other talent promoters??? Well, for the first case, Little Hearts will never call some one under talented or "No Specific Talent". The others are this would be mostly based to children who are less privileged to express themselves online. There would not be restriction of age or partiality given by the organisation , but will strive to make every one feel equal. Now since there is no age bar, it means my grand mother and my grand dad can be members and exhibit their talent. So....When is it starting ??? Soon, what i am doing now is collecting enough data so that by the time the blog comes out, there would be a good attraction and of course in time i wish to buy a website and rent a place .... but this is not in the story now and s donations can wait ( i am hopeful).

Well, the name is based on the the class magazine released by my class in 6th standard under the same name with the help of my class teacher Mr Syed Ahmed. In this desert of myriad of  broken dreams given up by many of us in order to earn bread the hard way, i wish to create an oasis and not just a mirage. So welcome my dear well wishers to the wonderful world behind the curtains. Hope the background is as good as the show was.

Back in school days after every play we used to announce " Hope you had a nice time watching the show, like we did in putting it up" , but who is this "we" ??? The audience hardly knows the people behind the scenes and the appreciation is given mostly to the cast and not the crew. This is where little hearts come in. Now if you had watched "School of Rock " , you would notice that there were many other than the six to ten who sang on the stage with Jack Black. Now, the movie does recognize this and shows where each student of the class has played a part. have you, if you were a part of the "backstage people" wished that you were brought into the lime light???

You may be the best light techy or the best costume designer or the best stage manager, this is where i belonged. I was the best among the "pack-up" crew. I knew when the lights went out, when the stage had to cleared, when the new props were to be set, when actors were to be called onto and off stage, but this was least recognized by my school for many years. Let me tell you guys and ladies who work all night setting up the stage and the props " you RoCk!! because without you the play would not be anything except four photogenic people talking aloud".

Welcome to Little Hearts ..... Welcome to Recognition.

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

fingerprint of god

The Ultimate Claim to Glory

During a recent worship service, a thought struck me while singing about giving glory to Jesus. I wondered if it would be appropriate to ask for glory or to claim it for oneself. This idea felt blasphemous, as it seemed to imply that one could steal or exceed God's glory. History is filled with examples of kings and rulers who sought such glory, only to end up as dust and bones. But then I realized that even Jesus, in his prayer to the Father, asked for glory: 'Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed' (John 17:5). How could Jesus, being fully God, ask for glory? The Chalcedonian and Nicene Creeds affirms the answer as said in the verse "He (Jesus), Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage, (Philippians 2:6)". They affirm that Jesus, though fully God, did not cling to his divine equality but humbled himself. He is the only one who truly des...
