Remember the words of uncle ben when he died?.....
"With Great Power Comes Great Resposibility"
We just love the power, the power to express, the power to control, the power to change, to power to distroy.... etc, how callous of us to forget  the next part of the saying, "Greater Responsibility!"

We are so careful that we do everything and look for more power to do more, hbut very carelessly forget the fact that i still have all the other resposibilities that i had before. For example, lets think of a child of five years, he is resposible enough not to pee in his pants, and when he grows older to six, he is resposible not to hurt his sibiling, but does this mean he can start to pee in his pants? Then why do we assume that our gains means to relax and forget about life of where we came out from?

Being Responsible: Every one knows that they can be responsible. To some it means "i can rule the world!". Yes, we do understand that you have been pushed inot a corner and finally you are promoted, but that doesnot put you at ease. It puts you both responsible for your actions and the others working under you. And mind you, you are eligible for a de-promotion as much as you are for a promotion. So, its always wise to realise that if you have been given some amount of trust by some one, and people have been reposting to you, you have already got your respect. Now its your turn to respect the ones below.

Hans Finzel, a great speaker, to whose message this is closely related to, said that the world looks for "bottom-up" approch, and transperancy, and a non dictator like behaviour in any aspect from the guy above to the guy below. Simple when you think, but when you look at this, it gets hard. This is called "Servent - Leader" method and this is not suited for both super heros and Military Rule and definetly against the Indian tradition that you must keep kissing your boss hand to move up. Dont expect someone to kiss your hand, expect to be considered a manager that the person keeps changing the dates of his resignation just so that he gets a manager like you. If you impress them there, they might just stay. Good luck

...till next time Su!

The Nativity - by Gari Melchers

This could be my first ever critique of art that I have ever written and that is because it is only recently art has captured my interest as much as this work. This write up is made both in English and German as I want to practice my German.  'The Nativity' by Gari Melchers.  I am not an art expert and my critique is from a layman's point of view, but bear with me. I have tried reading some information about the art and the culture behind it and I have my two favourite blog posts about the same work and yes,  I have shamelessly copied some of their thoughts. Woebegone but Hopeful and other is by Lisa VO . Julius Garibaldi Melchers (August 11, 1860 – November 30, 1932) was an American artist. He was one of the leading American proponents of naturalism. He won a 1932 Gold medal from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.[1] - Wikipedia The Nativity is painted during the peak of realism movement - in a gritty and less idealised ma...

The Ultimate Claim to Glory

During a recent worship service, a thought struck me while singing about giving glory to Jesus. I wondered if it would be appropriate to ask for glory or to claim it for oneself. This idea felt blasphemous, as it seemed to imply that one could steal or exceed God's glory. History is filled with examples of kings and rulers who sought such glory, only to end up as dust and bones. But then I realized that even Jesus, in his prayer to the Father, asked for glory: 'Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed' (John 17:5). How could Jesus, being fully God, ask for glory? The Chalcedonian and Nicene Creeds affirms the answer as said in the verse "He (Jesus), Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage, (Philippians 2:6)". They affirm that Jesus, though fully God, did not cling to his divine equality but humbled himself. He is the only one who truly des...
